In 2021, two best friends out on a walk spoke about the dream they shared of opening a  shop where they could nurture, support and promote contemporary Irish made craft, gifts and homeware. There and then, Sarah Mortimer and Cathy Fisher, friends for over 40 years decided it was time to pursue their dream and opened Objects "the joy of giving" in Enniskerry Village, Co. Wicklow.

Sarah having originally started her working life in the craft world, followed by over 25 years in event management has a flair for art, style and culture. Cathy having spent most of her career in culinary arts turned her passion of creativity in an alternative direction and has put her love of crafts and design to use.

At Objects the girls combine their knowledge and passion and bring their own style to the shop showcasing furniture, candles, homeware, jewellery, prints, beauty and much more. All items are handled with love and care and all go towards creating a magical Aladdin's cave in the heart of Wicklow, 'the garden of Ireland'.

Sarah and Cathy love welcoming people into their shop, browsing, perusing, and taking pleasure in the delight and warmth that these beautiful Objects bring to people's lives.
